Dr Richard Xu is a
lecturer at School of Computing and Mathematics at Charles Sturt University.
He is also
concurrently awarded
with teaching relief six months per year until 2011.
Richard obtained
PhD in Computer Sciences from University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
He has been
working in computer vision, visual information processing and pattern
recognition since 2002, and has made a number of significant contributions
in this field: Dr. Xu has developed a series of multimedia systems, which
incorporates the state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms. In particular,
he has developed a computer vision e-learning system for automated camera
